Key Stage 2 Learning Support Assistant

Contract:  Temporary part-time mornings (7.45am – 1.15pm)
Start:  Required from after half term onwards
Salary: £9,483

Responsibilities of the post:

The Learning Support Assistant’s (LSA) main role is to provide support for the pupil with special educational needs to ensure that they are making good progress with learning. The LSA will ensure that the pupil can integrate as fully as possible in the activities generally undertaken by the other children in the class.

The successful candidate will:

  • Be a proven outstanding Primary Class Teacher
  • Achieve high standards of teaching, learning and assessment
  • Have high expectations for every pupil’s progress and development
  • Have a relevant working knowledge of the current Primary National Curriculum
  • Be an enthusiastic, inspiring and committed member of staff
