AFTER SCHOOL CARE
After School and Holiday Care
An after school club is available for those pupils who need to stay beyond the end of the school day. Holiday sports clubs and art workshops operate during main holiday periods.
Nutritious home-made lunches are prepared by our catering staff who cater for a variety of dietary needs. Breakfast is available in the morning and many pupils and parents visit the cafeteria at the end of the school for a snack before embarking on an extra curricular activity.
Extra curricular programme
Members of staff give their time generously to provide an extensive extra curricular programme. Sporting and musical clubs are numerous and pupils gain enormous confidence from performances in dramatic productions, concerts, assemblies, sports matches and festivals pluslocal, regional and national competitions.
Pupils are encouraged to take responsibility for others both within the school community and in the wider world. The School Council takes an active part in the day to day running of the school as well as contributing to the development of initiatives and the organisation of charity events.
