Bursaries Available.
Free places awarded each year in Senior School and Sixth Form College.

Bursaries of varying amounts are offered for 11 year old candidates and are provided to assist families.  They are means tested and will cover up to half the fees except in exceptional circumstances. There will be one free place awarded each year in the senior school for Year 7 Entry and one free place awarded for entry into sixth form.

Conditions of Acceptance
Parents are reminded that the following are the Terms and Conditions which are the subject of the Memorandum of Agreement to be signed by the Parents or Guardians with the Governors of Bradford Girls’ Grammar School.

1.         The Parent agrees to pay the fee for each term on the first day of that term, such fee to be determined by reference to the details set out in the Prospectus amended from time to time by the Governors or the Headmistress.

2.         The Parents agree that the Parents and the Pupil will conform to all the Rules of the School  and the Code of Behaviour, as determined or amended from time to time by the Governors or the Headmistress. The Rules of the School shall be deemed to include the Prospectus and the Parents’ Handbook of which the Parent acknowledges having received copies of the current issues immediately prior to signing this Agreement.

3.         It is agreed that notice of withdrawal from the School must be received in writing in all cases by the Clerk to the Governors not later than the first day of the term at the end of which the Pupil is to be withdrawn, or, in default, payment of the full fee must be made for the following term.  Notices apply to one term only and must be renewed each term if the Pupil remains in the School beyond the term for which notice of her/his removal has been given.  This also applies to Optional subjects.

4.         It is expected that girls will continue their education until the completion of the sixth form course.
