Scholarships and Bursaries

Scholarships and bursaries have been a central part of Bradford Girls' Grammar School ever since the school opened in 1875.

Bradford Girls' Grammar School seeks to educate girls of above average academic, sporting or music ability who will contribute positively to school life.

Scholarships

In U3 scholarships may be awarded for academic, sporting or musical ability. Families may apply for bursaries which are means tested and can cover up to half the fees in exceptional circumstances.

Most Sixth Form scholarships are awarded to girls at UK maintained schools, but deserving applicants from fee-charging UK schools can also be considered. 

Bursaries

Financial assistance from the school bursary fund may be available each year.  Bursaries are awarded on merit and are means tested.  On application for a bursary, a comprehensive financial questionnaire must be completed and a home visit may be required.
