Welcome

Welcome to the Friends of Bradford Girls' Grammar School.  We are an informal and lively group of parents who work together to raise funds for the school.  Recent events have included: Strawberry and Cream Tea, Book Sales, Discos, Quiz Night for Children in Need and the Christmas Fair.  As a result, we have supported many school developments; including decorating the swimming pool, we have provided funding for the creation of the habitat area for Lady Royd Preparatory School, “hoodies” for the debating team.  We also support the school by raising funds for sports tours and educational visits.   

It’s particularly satisfying to see the work that we are doing for the school come to fruition.    

We meet several times per term, usually at 4.00 pm in school and if your child is 11 or under and you wish to attend meetings – they get free access to the school’s Sunset Club for the duration of the meeting.  Any current or ex-parent of the school would be welcome as part the group.  All we ask is that you are willing to roll your sleeves up and get involved!
