In the fashion brief, students were tasked with designing a T-shirt to be worn by supporters at this year’s Rio Olympics. Maryam Jamal’s entry particularly impressed the judges and was suitable awarded first place.
In the graphic design category, senior girls enjoyed further success with their design of a birthday card for the Queen that ‘symbolised her long reign’.
The top prize went to Kisa Hamdani, second for Ayesha Butt, a third for Adila Aminah and fourth place for Rukhsar Jahangir.
In the interior design category, to design a dream bedroom, first prize went to Amber Challis, second to Amaarah Nisa and third to Safaa Hussain.
The winning entries were then displayed in the Dye House Gallery at Bradford College for the general public to view.
