Foster Beaver Sixth Form College – Pastoral Care

The aim of Bradford Girls’ Grammar School Sixth Form College is to produce students who can work independently and take responsibility for their own learning.  There is an induction course which helps students entering the Sixth Form to make the transition from GCSE to A level.  Students participate in study skills workshops and there is a team-building day off-site at Nell Bank, RAF or Outward Bound to encourage students to mix across friendship groups.

Foster Beaver Sixth form college is open to girls aged 16 – 18.  Direct entry into the Sixth Form is dependent upon interview, the applicant's GCSE results and a satisfactory recommendation from the Head of the previous school. Pupils from Bradford Girls’ Grammar Senior School proceed directly into Foster Beaver Sixth Form College.

For more information; contact the Head of Sixth Form, Mrs J Cockroft on 01274 545395 or email jcockroft@bggs.com for an informal chat.
