Sixth Form students are encouraged to take on posts of responsibility within the school and out in the wider community, which further develop leadership, organisation and communication skills in preparation for the opportunities and challenges ahead.
Sixth Form students take on various leadership roles, therefore making a significant contribution to the smooth running of the school, which include:
Participation in the Silver and Gold Duke of Edinburgh’s Awards, Outward Bound Challenges and community outreach programmes all provide further opportunities for students to develop life and leadership skills.
Additionally, students will support staff welcoming visitors, organising and leading events, contributing to assemblies, supervising young pupils and general playing their part as ambassadors for the school and role models for younger pupils.
The Student Leadership Team
Each year a new Student Leadership Team is elected by the Sixth Form community. The President and her team are expected to play an important role in helping with the running of the School; organising house events and charity activities, helping to run the various clubs and activities in the primary phase.
