The Head of Sixth Form
Rod Foster
The transition from GCSE to A level studies is a significant one. Bradford Girls’ Grammar School prides itself on the fact that pupils adapt successfully and are able to transfer their skills to higher education the world of work with equal success. This is in no small measure due to the commitment and enthusiasm of our staff.
The Sixth Form College produces students who can work independently and take responsibility for their own learning. There is an induction course which helps students entering the Sixth Form to make the transition from GCSE to A level. Students participate in study skills workshops and there is a team-building day off-site.
