Foster Beaver Sixth Form College – University Applications

There is an extensive programme of support when Year 12 students begin the University application process.  In the spring term, a number of Admissions tutors from universities such as York, Manchester, Sheffield and Nottingham come in to give presentations on choosing university courses. There are sessions on how to write a personal statement and on interview technique.

Foster Beaver Sixth form college is open to girls aged 16 – 18.  Direct entry into the Sixth Form is dependent upon interview, the applicant's GCSE results and a satisfactory recommendation from the Head of the previous school. Pupils from Bradford Girls’ Grammar Senior School proceed directly into Foster Beaver Sixth Form College.
